The proverb literally means "you cannot both possess your cake and eat it". Once the cake is eaten, it is gone. It can be used to say that one cannot or should not have or want more than one deserves or can handle, or that one cannot or should not try to have two incompatible things.
The point to where this term pertains to us (human beings) is; one can not or should try not to have two incompatible things. We know this and it makes perfect sense however because We (human beings) have forgotten Who we Really are, we instead believe what doesn't make sense but does provide a sense of (false) security.
At this point, it may be a bit of a challenge to fully digest this concept considering the average adult holds at the very least, two incompatible things in the mind, called conflict on a continuous basis, called Life however continue reading and you'll discover what you've never lost.
Living in a state of conflict long enough guarantees a negative outcome one way or another and because the average adult American lives in a constant state of conflict (aka Fear,) the first thing to understand is you must relinquish one, Fear, in order to live conflict free.
This is how it's done and where the challenge may present itself - again, this is just a reminder of what you already know but just forgot.
1. Remember Who You are, a Spiritual being temporarily experiencing Life in human form (body) while here on earth.
2. Because God, Allah, Jehovah, Yahweh, etc., are all One and the Same (LOVE) anything other than or outside of Love is where the problem lies.
3. Considering only Love is Real, any/everything else is made up, superficial, may seem logical but makes no sense and explains why you're always brought back to Truth in the end.
4. Being made in His image confirms (the Real) You is Love. The same way only Love is Real, is the same way only Love is always the only answer.
5. Live life by these principals and what we consider miracles will begin to take place in your life because your energy is no longer in conflict with what is.
Acceptance of what is, tolerance and understanding are extensions of Love because they offer the way to Peace. That which is Real does not need acceptance to maintain its authenticity however the Peace that comes after which is what's needed in order to live conflict free.
Let us, the entire human race, open our Spiritual eye (Love) so the tricks and disguises that throw us off track can be seen for what they really are, Tests. Let us, the entire human race, remember the Truth of why we're here (and you can bet it's not to live in Fear.)
Only Love is Real. Remember that always, in all circumstances, all challenges and you will witness its Power in what most disregard as coincidence or luck. The choice is always yours, it's a gift. The highest return value is to live by "not my will but Thy Will be done" and the answer will always be clear and concise leaving no room for doubt or confusion. The answer will always be LOVE because although there are temporary fixes (everything that's made up) there is no other solution. Peace
