Mind Your Business and Let Me Mind Mine

Because Ego exists only in the Past, it does any/everything it can to keep you in the Past. It's sole purpose is to hold your mind captive in what was done or said so you never forget. This is Ego's reasoning for protecting you from getting hurt and/or offended again. 

In Ego's desperate attempts to keep you from Truth, it covers up the Present moment by convincing you the Future will mirror the Past. It clouds your vision and prevents you from remembering God is the One always in control.  With Ego controlling the mind by Fear of the Future being the same as the Past, you being to worry yourself sick. In feeble efforts, you begin to seek outside comfort (alcohol, drugs, food, sex, etc.) and as a result blame God for not being able to find Peace. 

Pain and suffering show up the minute your vision becomes blurred by what doesn't matter, the Past. It doesn't matter because it's only purpose is to teach a lesson. Only when you have failed to learn from the Past will it repeat itself, again and again, until it's purpose is no longer needed because the lesson has been accepted and understood. At this point you've taken from it what it what it came into your life to teach. You then, leave it there because it's goal has been met and its purpose has been accomplished. 

The Future, on the other hand is God's business! God is THE One and only Who is always in control  PERIOD.  Until that is accepted, understood and REMEMBERED, pain and suffering are certain to show up in your life. Choose to stay in the Present moment by being grateful for God's gift, your breath, the gift of Life, and let God take care of the Future. Because He created you, He knows better than you what's better for you!

Remember, Life is a test! Live it fully by learning from the Past, showing others God in You and your Future will be brighter than you could ever imagine! Peace

Thoughts

Thoughts determine your Life experiences. If you think about that for a moment, that should really get you excited!! The idea of thoughts determining your experiences (and NOT an outside factor) offers a different perspective. Because thoughts are created in the brain,  and you control your brain, you should feel a sense of great relief! 

If the majority of your Life experiences are uneventful, at best, maybe it's time to assess why. You see, too many believe it's the brain that controls the body and that's where it ends. You've forgotten it's YOU that controls the mind, which controls the body. Remember, YOU are not a body, YOU are a spiritual being in a temporary physical form (body.) You know that, you just forgot!

Considering God gave us the will to choose, you must know it comes with power, the Power of God. There is no other power greater than God's because God Himself IS Power. Because God gave you His Power, if used in any manner apart from the Will of God, you bring pain and suffering onto yourself. Your choice doesn't change it's efficacy, God's Power never changes!

Because you have THE Power, it can be used to bless others but it can also do much damage. Understand, the moment this happens you are no longer in control, Ego is! Somewhere along the way, you've lost focused, by not paying attention to the thoughts going in your mind. That is exactly what Ego needs to hijack your mind and cause havoc. Please know, this happens subtly and progressively. Ego never makes sense but it sure knows how to confuse you, it does it every time, just in different disguises. 

It's most common disguise is Fear. Whenever you feel afraid (don't confuse being afraid with danger - two total different things), know Ego has obscured your vision from Truth (God) and has taken over your mind, hence the worrying, stress, anxiety, anger, regret, shame, etc. These are all thoughts that come with gifts of only pain and suffering. "As a Man thinketh, so is he", meaning what/how you're feeling inside is the mirror to what's going on in your head. And how you react is just your body listening to what your brain is telling it to do. 

Ego gets into your head (when you're not there) and makes up all those unanswered questions, etc. "How?", "When?", "What?" Because they come from Ego, they mean nothing. 

No matter how upsetting your situation may seem, your thoughts of it will determine your reaction to it. Choose, rather to not engage in your thoughts at all. With God's Power comes an unquestionable knowing which the Holy Spirit reminds you of. He offers His Peace in exchange for your "stuff" and clears your mind of what never matted to begin with. 

Now that you're back on track, stay awake in your mind by staying present in the moment. That is where all questions to your unanswered ones lie. "Peace, Be Still." Peace

Scarcity and Lack

As long as perception is how things are viewed, scarcity and lack will continue to be part of Life. It  has to be that way because with perception, there is always another way to see things. With perception things seem to appear the way you see them and NOT the way they are. At this point suffering comes because perception and suffering come together to obscure your vision from the Truth. Please understand this is Ego's sole purpose and will do any/everything to accomplish its purpose.

What you must remember is you already have everything! As a creation of God, there is nothing God created that is in need of anything or lacking anything. The thought of such a thing seems ludicrous because it IS ludicrous yet that is precisely how life is lived.

Ego's sole purpose is to keep you from remembering who God is in your Life. Its only way of doing this is by obscuring your vision (through perception) causing you to become confused and lose focus of God. This explains how you've lost your way. You must not believe its God that has left you. Because God is omnipresent (everywhere at all times) He has always been and will always be with you. As a matter of fact, He is with you right now!

It's by recognizing who you are that you'll remember who God is because you'll be able to see Him in your brothers and sisters despite Ego's disguises in forms of anger, greed, jealousy, worry, envy, hate, etc. You'll know you were wrong in seeing another as a threat or the enemy. At this point you hold the key which unlocks you from Fear. This key is the answer to everything and anything. This key comes only from God. There is only one key yet it is universal. It's called LOVE. God IS Love and because God is everywhere at all times, any/all feelings apart from Love comes from Fear which is what Ego uses to obscure your vision from Truth. 

Scarcity and Lack are created in the mind by Ego and used to keep you enslaved in pain and suffering. Because you're unable to see clearly, everything you're faced with comes across as trials and tribulations. Do not waste time by focusing on how bad your life situation seems. Being that perception is never 100% sure, it is not to be measured up to how things could or should be. Complete surrender to God is only where Peace and Joy are found and you'll never find it where there is scarcity or lack. 

Because God is everywhere and everything know that He is THE provider. All that is required is your will be in accordance with His will, meaning to bless and uplift others. Live life this way (which is the only way) and all your needs and wants will be met. Instead of material things (which are meaningless because they don't last for ever), your eyes have been cleared by the The Holy Spirit to show, you can have anything you want because of who God is in you.  

Wake up and know the Truth and that is you already have everything you could ever want or need. Use it (LOVE) and watch miracles begin to happen right before your very eyes. Stay awake and not dismiss them as coincidences, there are no such thing in the kingdom of God. Life in Abundance is what God intended for Man. Know that and Live that. Peace

Suicide

Suicide is what Ego has you believing is your answer, your last resort. You've reached this point when every aspect of your life seems to be in turmoil. Ego (originated from Fear) tries to convince you Life is not worth living because your vision is obscured. All you see is misery and all you feel is pain, this is called depression.

At this point, you've lost sight of God and so have lost Hope. You get frustrated and fear things will get worse NOT better and this is where suicidal thoughts begin to creep in.  Its as if you're going through life blind folded, searching aimlessly in the dark for Peace but you'll never find it there because you're searching in all the wrong places. Because your vision is blurred, your mind has been taken over by Ego (or what most refer to as "The Devil") and you're now in a constant state of fear and confusion believing your future will be just as grim; perfect recipe for disaster!
 

Hope comes from God through the Holy Spirit who's purpose is to remove the blind fold and show you what is true and what is false. What is absolutely, undeniably true is no matter how difficult or horrible your situation, it is NOT worth taking your life. You see, suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, this is the very thing Ego/The Devil wants to keep from you.

What's false is believing you'll find Peace in suicide. You must know, Peace is never found there and will never be found there because that is not God's answer, its Ego/The Devil's ultimate solution to everything.

Depression is a clear sign you've lost your way as well as your Faith in God and need guidance to get back on the right track. This, you'll find ONLY in the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit guides you along to truth, Ego drags you away from it!

Allow the Holy Spirit to show you Life is worth living. You see, Life is just a test to see where your Faith lies, either in God or Ego/The Devil.

Peace of mind is God's answer to surrender and Hope is then restored through the Holy Spirit because you're reminded that God is in control NOT Ego. Meaning "Be Still And Know That I Am God." Peace.

  

 

You'll find it the same place you lost it!

When you're at the most critical stage in your life (where everything seems bleak) is where some find Faith in God and some lose Faith in God.

Depression is the expected outcome of focusing on how horrible your life situation is. Extended periods in this state leads to suicide because one would rather be dead than continue living in a state of helpless/hopelessness. 

Hopelessness is where you've lost Faith in God. This is Ego's destination for you because if you remembered who you are it would mean the end of its existence. Its purpose is to cloud your vision and keep you in a state of despair. There is no limit to where it will take you, it  does any/everything to push you to the point of suicide because it will never willingly remove its blindfold from your eyes. The denial of truth is what keeps it in power.

There is no need to continue to be disheartened. Hopeless/helplessness is also where Faith in God is found! All that's required is for you to recognize, because of your current state, you are NOT in control. Is this where you would end up if you were?!?

Choose to surrender to God all of your worries, doubts, insecurities, anxieties, hurt, pain, fear, etc. because they're useless. Faith in God is found, despite your state of feeling hopeless, as ALL hope and help is in God. Ego offers only what's temporarily good, fun, exciting, etc., but all at a great price  because there is no Truth in what doesn't last for ever.

Faith in God is found where you lost it. You find it because you're able to look at your current state and still see God. Ego keeps you from facing reality (denial) and that's why you believe God has abandoned you and so you lost Faith in Him.

Trust God by staying in His peace - the present moment. Quiet/stillness, if you stay long enough, is where you'll experience God's answer to ALL questions and/or desires. "All things work together for good to those who Love God and are called according to His purpose." Believe, because it's God's word and God doesn't lie. Don't be confused with Ego who only lies because it know nothing about Truth.

Now that you've found Faith, show your brother where to find it and you'll enjoy Peace in Heaven on Earth! Peace.

Salvation

Salvation lies in your relinquishing what Ego made up by recognizing there is but one lack since there is but one need (Love.) Because there is no lack or need in God, you must know attack in any form comes from not remembering who God is. That is all Ego needs to take over and cloud your vision. It takes control over your mind but convinces you it's there to protect you. Because you don't remember who you are, you forgot who your brother is. Ego convinced you your brother is a threat, every/anyone is seen as a threat to Ego. This is the reason we can't trust or love one another.

To attack back is to deny a cry for help. That is exactly what attack is, a cry for help! Choose instead to see God, rather than their state of confusion, and they won't see Ego in you. They'll see God in you and thus leave confusion (darkness) and enter the light (understanding.) This is atonement - demonstrating in you God's undoing of all error/sin which then uproots the source of fear/Ego.

Because God gave the will/power to choose, you have power of the mind which is a mechanism of decision. Do not fall prey to Ego's belief in your behavior being excused because you're "only human and imperfect." Choice is your decision to use your God given power to make up your own mind. 

Ego must control the mind in order to exist. Believing it can control the mind of another will only bring pain and misery to you both because when God gives something, He doesn't take it away. Behavior always listens to the mind so if it's out of order it's because the mind is confused, taken over and controlled by Ego. 

Salvation is for the mind and its attained through peace. Salvation is found in your brother because we are not alone, hence why misery loves company. Knowing how to attain peace and share it, is where you'll find and experience heaven on earth! Peace

Don't be Confused!

Ego's purpose is to keep your mind in the past as it covers up the present and convinces you the future is going to be just as destructive. Because the present is lost to you, all you're able to see and understand is what Ego made up but has you believing is true.

 The mind is frozen in time and unable to move forward because it hasn't let go. Fear of letting go leaves the possibility of Ego getting hurt and it won't ever allow that again. Anxiety of possibly getting hurt again puts Ego on guard, always ready to attack. Because Ego is insane and makes no sense, it causes drama and conflict where there was none although all it ever needs is to see itself in someone else.

Be grateful for the moment you're living right now for when you're able to spend more frequent and longer periods in the moment is when you'll loose track of time and thus begin living in the moment. It's at this point your eyes will be open and clear to see and experience God's hand at work in your favor. Don't dismiss it as a coincidence (there is no such thing!)

God doesn't need credit or accolades for being magnificent. Don't be confused, that's all Ego! It wants more than anything in the world to receive credit and accolades for anything/everything which is meaningless. Choose instead to go with meaning, value, worth, truth, honesty, integrity, love, respect, kindness, compassion, humility, sincerity, understanding, etc. These come from God and there is no price to pay for them!

Stay in the moment and be grateful for it, don't be confused, there is no other present like it!

Are You a Resident or Visitor?

Reading a street sign "Residents straight ahead, Visitors Left/Right" is when I realized that is what they call a "gated community." What exactly is a gated community? Could it be a group of people who have forgotten who they are and so believe because of their wealth of money (NOT wealth of knowledge) they are superior to those less fortunate?

Could it be you feel safer together in this big scary world and would rather believe money is the answer to everything? A gated community is a community of people who believe they are separate and apart from those people in that area.  As if a particular zip code could determine who who are at the core. Please know, this is how Ego thinks and because it's foundation is built on lies, it doesn't stand up to anything which explains its shallowness!

It's that very belief that keeps the Ego in power. Believing and maintaining the idea of superiority/inferiority (when it comes to people in general) makes no sense - lack of knowledge.  Sure, money makes living a little (or a lot) more comfortable however the saying "more money more problems" come from the more you have, the more your want (greed.) It also means opportunities - for you to share (or not) your wealth of money - will present its self. 

If you choose to not share, you will create a "gated community/prison" for yourself and Ego will convince you that you're safe or better off away from "them." Lack of knowledge comes from not knowing the truth about who you are. This is all the Ego needs to take over and tell you who you are and you'll believe it because you've lost your way and you're confused.

Know this, you are not a resident here. You are just a visitor passing through. If you want to be treated and welcomed as such, you must treat others the way you would want to be treated. You would be amazed at the magic/power a smile has. It can melt steel walls and it can crumble brick walls in seconds! 

Start there, with a smile and watch the hand of God work right before your very eyes! Remember, you're only visiting so don't take yourself (or anyone else for that matter) too seriously because none of it really matters anyway...Peace

It's up to you!

When God created Man, He created him in His image. Meaning the will/power to choose creates your HELL and your HEAVEN. Only when you have surrendered is when you either choose to continue to make a living Hell for yourself by Ego running ish or you put it all down and choose Peace.

There is only one Peace and that's experienced only in Heaven. When you're in one accord with God, by letting go and being grateful for the gift of Life (no matter how grim your circumstance) is when you will have Peace and so be in Heaven. 

You don't have to wait until you die to experience Heaven. It's not some far away place up in the sky. Heaven is right here, right now in the moment of Gratitude and Love. It's acknowledging I am not a threat to my brother and so he is not a threat to me. If you can see your brothers Ego it's because it's looking at yours.

Only the Holy Spirit can show you Himself in your brother, despite all the disguises. Because your brother doesn't remember who he is or who's he is, and you do, you will recognize his attack as a cry for help. Inappropriate behavior (disrespecting yourself or others) is the body listening to the mind held hostage by Ego because Ego knows nothing about Love or Respect. 

Do not try to defend Ego by believing it's there to protect you. Ego's sole purpose is to destroy your life so it can continue to exist. It's up to you - you either create your Heaven or Ego will continue to ruin your life - it's done a pretty damn good job so far, wouldn't you say??? Peace.

You'll see it when you BELIEVE it.

I am at my most vulnerable place in life and my faith in God is what allows me to document this journey and share it with the world. 

After two very difficult years I would comfortably call HELL, I am now on the other side living in the moment and thus living in Peace. Although I have more growing, learning and sharing to do, I am sooo much better spiritually, mentally, emotionally - a few may question the last one. Please be patient with me God is not thorough with me yet, meaning when God created Man he was made perfect because God created Man in His image.

Ego (Snake, Devil, whatever your preference/belief) however is what obscures your vision and clouds your mind with any/everything that will cause you pain, misery and suffering. God never intended for Man to live in any state other than Peace. If/when you lose focus of God by focusing on your life situation, Ego slides in and takes over your mind. That is where Fear is born because you've forgotten everything. Everything is Love because God is Love. Anything apart from Love is born in Fear. 

Because there can be nothing apart from Love (IT is everything) Fear IS nothing. This is precisely what Ego does NOT want you to remember because the Truth of it being nothing is what dispels it. The Holy Spirit is the only one that can show you this but you must be willing to accept the Truth, the Holy Spirit never lies and neither does Reality.  

It's at this point (where I am now) where  Truth has been revealed. The mess that has to be "cleaned up" or dealt with is all done by Ego but there is no time to waste stressing about what is already done and can not be undone. I have chosen to step out on Faith and do what most would call radical (beyond the norm.) I have nothing else because there is nothing else that is capable of keeping me out of the HELL I'm come from. 

In God, there is no such thing as radical because God IS far beyond the norm and there are no challenges for God. Remember it's with God all things are possible. Ego would've preferred I keep my testimony quiet in case I fall flat on my face yet this is not about me. Ego is only about "ME." This is ALL about Faith and making the first move, knowing it's already done. You have to BELIEVE it to see it, that's Faith. It's the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 

God says faith the size of a mustard seed is enough to move mountains. Choosing to share my journey with any/everyone is saying because I know Ego is where Fear comes from, in the form of doubt and worry, I choose Faith. Faith is knowing the outcome is not important. Giving the Holy Spirit the mess Ego left you with, in exchange for Peace is where your life is changed. Because you've let go of the Past and you're no longer fearful about the Future, the Present moment is where you'll begin to see and experience what most would call coincidence because they're still not convinced (obviously.) Please know there is no such thing as coincidence, that's just Ego (again, in your head) causing more mess.

Try it out for yourself. Select one of your concerns, worries, doubts etc., and give it to the Holy Spirit in exchange for Peace by letting it go to see what happens    (just don't snatch it back.) Don't think you're fooling anyone if/when you go right back to worrying and/or being a Debby Downer. If you want Peace and you're ready to live in Peace, believe God is in control at all times and watch the miracles unfold before your very eyes. Peace

The Steps To Heaven

In the lowest level of despair, is where most find God. Any other time God can't be found because  the mind is lost in what doesn't matter. It's frozen in time with hurt and pain from the past and because history continues to repeat itself the mind is consistently worried about the future looking like the past. 

It's during moments of hopelessness and helplessness that brings the mind to a point where it has to choose between Ego and God. Only when a chance is taken on God by stepping out on faith (because there is nothing left) is where peace is found. Because the mind is still very fragile, coincidence is typically the rationale for miracles that are always the answer to the call of God.

Because the mind is still in sleep mode (that's the only way the Ego can take over) it will stumble around in the dark, searching for the answers to questions it will never find there. Answers to any question(s) are always only found in the light. It may take more "mistakes", "errors", "failures", "disappointments", etc., to try faith out again - the size of a mustard seed is all it takes to move mountains!

History is not the determining factor here, God is! Trust Him by stepping out on sheer/blind faith because that is where ALL the answers are. The questions "what if", "how will I ", "what about", etc., will no longer matter because the Holy Spirit replaces those kinds of questions with peace of mind. At first, in fear, the steps are taken in hesitation however at one point or another they become more confident and fluent because of who God is.

Imagine stepping off a cliff - of course the first reaction is to panic, because God is not the focal point! Faith is stepping out and trusting God will meet your needs by placing His foundation to meet your footsteps until, after placing one foot in front of the other, you'll begin walking tall, then skipping, then dancing, the cart wheeling, then running!! These "steps" of faith represent the illuminated stairway to heaven because the Holy Spirit is your guide. 

Keep one foot in front of the other and watch life unfold before your very eyes! Peace 

My Baby Got It!!!

After a full year of one "misfortune" after the next, my daughter (soon to be an official teenager), has shown me what adaptability looks like. This young lady has gone through in one year what would send the average adult into a nervous breakdown. Because her attitude quickly developed into "it doesn't matter to me", she has been able to adapt to whatever came her way.

 

The moment we (you, me, society, the world at large) are able to see reality for what it is, and not add to it or take away from it,  to create what the Ego would prefer it to be, is when the pain, depression, worry, guilt, shame, anger, regret, etc., ceases. Its this moment (only the present moment) that will allow you to continue in peace.

 

Its at this point the power of God in you is to be used to invite the Holy Spirit in to show you all that you see and too horrible for you to realize (hence your denial of it) is really nothing. You gave it meaning despite the fact that God said thou shalt not have any other gods before me. Here is the best part, the Ego convinces you this is God's fault and so you ask "God, Why me?", "Where were you when...?", "How could you let this happen?", etc.,.

 

Don't be fooled any longer! By looking at your mess through the eyes of the Holy Spirit (only the Holy Spirit can show you the truth), you will then understand to continue to stress out about what means nothing is blasphemy.  This behavior is saying to God "I love you, but I don't trust you." Trust God wholly and completely and you'll see, because of who God is, you can do all things!

 

My baby got it when on, January 1st, she said "Mom, I'm ready." I shaved what was left of her hair to (what we were told is) Alopecia, Psoriasis, Ring Worm, etc.,. She's BALD! Once it was over, she said "I'M FREE!!! Mom, I'm not going to wear my wig anymore!"

 

My baby got it!!! She walked into Middle School on the first day back from the Holiday Break and continued on with her day BALD! She showed me what Adaptability looks like! Knowledge is Power and because they both come from the God, age is irrelevant.

 

 

 

 

LAW

Law - a rule or body of rules of conduct inherent in human nature and essential to or binding upon human society.

Drove to work this morning on a thruway where the speed limit is 65mph but the average flow of traffic is between 75 and 80mph. As I began to pick up speed, I noticed a State Trooper doing about 75mph in the passing lane. I immediately shifted into the middle lane and cruised at a cool 70mph. Cars behind me were gaining speed and were pretty aggressive (because they didn't know what's ahead) so I shifted again, into the right/slow lane. 

It's was almost comical to watch how those speed hungry cars zoomed past me only to quickly pump their brakes once they understood what the hold up was. 

The State Trooper stayed in the passing lane and maintained his speed at 75mph for the next three exist! As if to say "I dare one of you to pass me!" The level of respect, if you want to call it that, was pretty apparent and spoke loud and clear (to me.) Not in the (obvious) sense that rules are followed to avoid problems. No, what I got from that was, we as a "civilized" society need to be policed because we can not be trusted to do the right thing. And for that reason, rules and regulations are put it place for all to obey however because of ignorance, arrogance and fear (a disastrous combination) there are those that get by because of their race, wealth, and/or "power", etc. The ironic thing though is as soon as no one is watching, those rules and regulations go out the window all the while praying you don't  get caught.

Integrity is yours to claim when you do the right thing period, whether you're being watched or not. As a matter of fact, integrity is doing the right thing particularly when you're not being watched. 

Laws are put in place because people are not to be trusted but God is. Remember who you are and you will remember who He is. Because you belong to Him and He is in control at all times, do the right thing because nothing else matters. 

Body Language

Whenever you're conflicted about something/anything (because you've forgotten who you are), and you need discernment about what to do, check your body language.

Because the body listens to and obeys only the mind, that is when and where you'll find the truth about what's going on up there. No matter what the mouth says (which is clearly in conflict with the mind), you'll find truth in body language because the body doesn't lie - the mouth does!

Because the tongue is a two edged sword, you can't depend on it because of its ability to be dishonest. The body, which is what God uses as his instrument, is available for use only if/when the mind is free from worry, fear, anger, envy, jealousy, anxiety, etc.

These emotions do not last long in the present moment because the Ego has to either drag the mind back to the past and keep it there to rehash what it refuses to let you forget or it continuously makes up grim scenarios of the future to keep you in fear. It also shows you a past that would've been but wasn't, to keep you in denial or it has you believe your treasure is in some far away  place (in the sky) to prevent you from being grateful for what/who you have in your life now.

The body doesn't speak but can and does communicate. Only in the present moment are you able to stop and "listen" to your body because if you don't, your body will stop you (emergency room or worse!)  Not convinced? What is the body's first sign of communication when the mind is stressed out? A headache. If that sign is ignored, the headache may get worse and/or the body will send another (stronger) signal, i.e., chest pains, high blood pressure, heart attack, etc.

Because the body was created for God's purpose, anything other than His purpose brings pain and suffering - "All things work for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose." God created man (not just Adam and Eve) and because man doesn't remember their purpose, greed, selfishness, envy, malice, revenge, jealousy, hate. etc., is what will continue to bring pain and suffering.

Only in the present moment are you able to feel God's presence. You won't find Him in the past because the past is gone and you won't find Him in the future because the future doesn't exist. There is no coincidence this moment is called the PRESENT. Accept it from God, be grateful for it and use it to honor Him.

Because we are ALL created in HIS image (a spiritual being), don't let the body be the determining factor of how you live. The body is God's instrument to be used for HIS purpose (never yours) and when that purpose has been accomplished, the body returns to the ground - ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Your (God given) purpose is UNIVERSAL and that is to honor God by seeing Him in everyone so everyone can see Him in you. Peace
